By accessing or using GWG Researcher ("GWG", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

2. Service Description

GWG provides market research data, lighting industry channel intelligence, and interactive mapping tools for the North American electrical distribution and lighting industries. Our services include:

• Lighting rep agency directories and territory maps
• Brand-distributor relationship data
• Custom market research and channel analysis reports
• Industry data visualization tools

3. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer

Our data is provided "as is" for informational and business development purposes. We compile data from publicly available sources — manufacturer rep locators, agency websites, industry databases, and distributor store locators — and make reasonable efforts to verify its accuracy. However:

• We do not guarantee that all data is current, complete, or error-free
• Brand-rep relationships, distributor locations, and personnel change frequently
• Users should independently verify critical information before making business decisions
• We are not liable for any losses arising from reliance on our data

4. Intellectual Property

The GWG website, map interface, compiled datasets, and visualizations are our intellectual property. You may:

• View and interact with our public map for your internal business use
• Purchase custom reports for internal use

You may NOT:

• Scrape, bulk download, or systematically extract our data without written permission
• Resell or redistribute our data in any form
• Use our data to build competing products

5. User Conduct

When using our services, you agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access restricted areas without authorization
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data
• Interfere with the operation of our servers or API
• Submit false or misleading information through our contact forms

6. Third-Party Data & Attribution

Our maps use tiles from CARTO and OpenStreetMap contributors. Geocoding services are provided by Google Places API, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Brand and distributor data is sourced from publicly available company websites and industry databases.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GWG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of business opportunities or profits.
